MAKE A 6 MONTH PLAN
The
words that compose davedraper.com are written with a logic that
comes only from experience, with a passion that comes only from
love and an excitement that comes only from creativity.
The
facts of how to train, how to eat, why, when and when you
don't want to are presented to you clearly, as insight; not
cold precepts that bind you like laws and classroom underscores.
There
you'll find exactly what you need to get you going and keep you
going with knowledge and understanding, spirit and zeal, purpose
and ever growing clarity. Bodybuilding, weight training, nutrition,
fitness and exercise; any one of them or all together, they comprise
an engaging diversion, a healthy sport, a rewarding challenge, a
robust lifestyle that lifts you up and keeps you up.

Attention
all who seek muscle and might "The Plan" is here; the friendly
IronOnline Challenge put forth last week in our dd.com newsletter.
Two
original, individual bodypart workouts (wo's) each week for the
next six months will be presented by a ready, willing and able IOL
participant. WO1 will be directed toward mass building while WO2
will be a fit and lean routine. The sequence of bodyparts has been
decided by the poetic voice of IOL and is as follows:
OCTOBER
- LEGS
NOVEMBER
- CHEST
DECEMBER
- BACK
JANUARY
- SHOULDERS
FEBRUARY
- ARMS
MARCH
- ABS & GET RIPPED NUTRITION
Each
workout will have a brief overview to give it substance and clarity.
The rest is up to you. Print it out, file it, practice it, make
it a regular routine or a "slump buster." Get huge, hop on the IronOnline
discussion group and give us your input.
A
large percentage of IOL regulars have committed to try at least
one workout per week as a challenge within the structure of their
established routine. For them curiosity, perpetuation of training
interest, enthusiasm, knowledge, adventure, social sharing, victory
over monotony, and the creation of a large training file are the
incentives. They're really nice but greedy.
The
workouts will be filed in the Irononline Archives at dd.com for
posterity and a pleasing, muscular body.
1 + 1 = 2
. . . . . . CONJECTURE . . . . . .
Should
a man [or woman, of course] train hard and not eat right, he will
slug along, his muscles will thicken, his strength will improve
and he'll be better for it. Improvements, however, will not be inspiring
nor will they be long lasting. Eventually, the careless diet will
do him in.
If
this same man [or woman, of course] should eat "right," he will
grow more muscular with more separation and less fat. He will be
stronger, more energetic and more enduring throughout his entire
system. These improvements will occur sooner with less hardship,
more joy, and last infinitely longer. He'll be, my guess is, happier,
friendlier, sharper and more stable than the poor fellow of average
nutritional responsibility.
Frightening.
Watching CNN Health on the news yesterday, I learned that over 55%
of all Americans are overweight and 20 % of this group are obese.
Exercise and nutrition, the two major factors (duh) that control
these percentages, were dismissed with a shrug and an embarrassed,
nervous laugh by the five less-than-responsible adults interviewed.
"No, I don't exercise or watch my diet, though I probably should
(tiny tee hee hee). "
Would
it not be true that considerably more are "over fat " if not overweight.
. . and unconditioned? I do not judge or bash these folks... I'm
sorry and appalled. I want to shout, "PEOPLE WAKE UP. PLEASE!"
Thank
God we know the trouble and are applying the solution before it
becomes a problem.

Ya'll,
new and seasoned Don't forget, d.d.com has a resource of
275 pages with a search engine [thanks, L] to help you locate some
of the answers to some of the questions you stumble across regularly
throughout the day.
In
a few days check the site to view its new face lift. It's being
reworked [more like molecular disassembly and atomic reconfiguration]
by a frazzled, mumbling and cross-eyed stranger to improve search
engine efficiency.
Today's
Wednesday. Gotta feed Laree she'll only eat raw meat these
days so the pages will be up by this Sunday.
Stay
tuned, Bombardiers.
